Secret post assignment
For this assignment I actually found it quite interesting and fun. This specific assignment reminded me of something that me and a few of my friends from back in high school did back when we were all sixteen years old. Long story short, imagine four young artists running down several blocks trying to not get caught with a bag full of spray paint, hands and shirts still covered in paint. My audience would perhaps be young adults who are outgoing and artistic. My "secret" affected my choices in the sense that I became more responsible with my actions, and instead of running around, we decided to begin doing murals at legal walls in small businesses in our neighborhood. It also affected me, in the way that my passion for urban art led me to want to minor in graphic design.

Peer Review #2
In this second paper, I am going to analyze the similarities and differences in the Harry Potter movies that have been displayed over the years in comparison to the actual Harry Potter books. I will go about analyzing these two things by focusing on scenes of the movies, and the detailed paragraphs of the Harry Potter novels. I chose to use this specific movie/book because it is something that was extremely popular while I grew up, and it is something that is still well known today. Towards the end of the peer review me and my partner, targeted questions to each other on how we planned to go about our papers, and which things we should or shouldn't include. We also talked about how we should structure our papers.

Awkward Family Photos
After going on the awkward family photos website I encountered a picture that caught my attention. In the photograph there are four family members. Two grandparents and what appears to be their two grandchildren holding a revolver and an automatic weapon. What mainly draw my attention to the picture is the fact that the family as a whole looks very happy, however when focusing on the grandchildren holding the guns there is a kind of creepy aspect to it all. The little girl, who is holding the revolver has an extremely creepy face and the boy next to her who is holding the automatic weapon seems to be a cold blooded killer simply by the way in which he looks in the picture, with such a vague and empty look on his face. The picture in general has a very creepy look to it, but on the other hand it also has a comical aspect to it, simply because f the way that picture is set up and portrayed.

Draft Analysis
There are several strategies that I am using in order to draw the readers attention in my introduction. First of all, I am trying to simply have a good hook at the beginning of my paper so that I can easily capture the readers attention. Aside from this, I am also, editing my paper so that more profound vocabulary can be used in order to give the paper a more professional appearance and style.
The strategies that I am using to wrap up my paper in my conclusion is to simply, review my paper, and come up with a final statement, something that can give my paper that final spark that it needs to finish it off perfectly. Also, I am planning to state a condensed version of my argument once more in the conclusion.
This is a picture of the piece that two close friends of mine from back in Miami did at Art Basel a few years ago, I have been attending Art Basel for the past three years.

Peer Review Feedback
In general, the peer review that I completed in class today went well. At first, we began by reading thoroughly through each others papers Then after that, we dedicated a fairly large part of the class, editing each others papers, and fixing any minor mistakes that were done. Then, as the final step, we went through our essays, and we reflected on each others papers, to ensure that we would have an even better paper for the next occasion.
Up to now, I personally believe that I am doing well in the process of attaining a good final draft. However, there are some areas of my draft that definitely need some editing in the context and perhaps elaborate a little more on certain topics in my paper, so that my paper isn't too broad.

Changes to my paper
One area of my paper that definitely needs changes and that needs to be improved is the area of my paper that states some of the basic information in my paper. I have noticed in my past drafts that I have seemed repetitive, however this is something that I have been regularly improving in my writing. Another way that I guess I could improve my writing is by perhaps including more ideas to elaborate on.

Workshop Review
In general the workshop went very well. We were able to successfully comment on the draft's that we came up with and we gave each other good, constructive feedback. From the workshop I was able to better understand the mistakes that I did and I was able to better adjust my first draft to the specifications of the of the prompt. My other group members also had to complete some drafting, because now that we have openly talked about our ideas, more ideas came about. The next step that I want to take in the drafting of my writing is to reorganize the ideas and to elaborate more and make the ideas more clear and concise for the reader.

John Wayne writing assignment
After reading John Wayne: A love Song, I was able to tell that Didion learned many things from Wayne and his films. I guess in a way, Didion idolized John Wayne, to the point where in a sense she began to believe that men were meant to be strong and valiant. From John Wayne, Didion learns that a man is in a sense supposed to be a protective figure, and that they don't back down either. On the other hand, women are viewed as the care takers, the peace bringers and in some situations they are even considered to be weak.
A musical group that had an important impact on my life was, without a doubt the hip hop duo Outkast. Through their lyrics, and their unique sounds when it came down to music production, they heavily influenced some of my main interests which are music production, music performance, and art.

Anne Lamott's "Shitty First Drafts" Blog Posts
In Anne Lamott's"Shitty First Drafts" the reader encounters the narrator giving a short but concise explanation of how all writers go through the same process of writing and editing, and write in a sort of an escalated manner. They begin by a first draft which is simply all the thoughts that want to be put into play and ends in the final product, which is the refined edited version of the original first draft. In my situation, I like to write down my initial thoughts at the moment in which I begin to write my first draft, however I make sure to include all ideas that come to me after I have completed my first draft, and I incorporate these ideas, into the following drafts and into the final product.
My personal writing process, involves a lot of time to think. Personally when I am handed a topic to write about I usually take a good while to think of what exactly am I going to write about. After I have accomplished this first step, then I continue to begin my first draft. In that first draft, I usually let out whatever ideas I had in mind, but I also let out any other ideas that I come up with at the moment. Once my first draft has been completed, I usually look over my writing and I edit anything that seems to be out of place. Then if necessary I'll go ahead and begin a new second draft with all of the edited work from the first draft.
My writing is a Greyhound Bus. It begins at the beginning of a route with a certain group of people, and as the bus continues on its journey throughout the route it picks up and drops off people along the way. By the time the bus reaches its final destination, there is only a select group of people. By this, I mean that there is an original set of ideas at the beginning of my first draft, but along the way, ideas get eliminated and new better ideas are put into play.
